Here we have a blend of several premier Pinot Noir Vineyards in Santa Barbara County in Santa Rita Hills and Santa Maria AVAs.
This wine was brought together as a blend after a year of barrel aging and then returned to barrel for an additional year. Aging both separately and together allows for unique flavors to develop while aging as a blend brings these flavors together to form something that is, in some ways, greater than the sum of its parts. After an additional year in bottle this wine is ready to showcase the more balanced nuances of Santa Barbara as a whole.
